About Me

Hi, I'm Amber. Not named after the color Amber, but actually a beer "flavored" Amber. That was my dad's idea.

I'm 24... independent, honest, creative, determined, and I'm sure a few other words floating around.

I married my husband Ryan on September 24th, 2011 after dating for 4 1/2-ish years, he is my everything. You can read about Our Journey here.

I'm a momma, to a little boy named Kayden Douglas, he was born on October 23rd, 2013. You can read his birth story here. I have PCOS, which is a fertility/hormone disorder, and after fertility treatments was able to conceive our little angel.

I love to travel, trying new things, camping and the great outdoors, gardening, baking, and designing things. You can read more on my design work here.

I've got a major sweet tooth, bring me chocolate and you'll be my best friend. I'm a slight perfectionist, although others might argue the slight. I'm definitely not perfect... But, I'm here, breathing and living day to day so that I am thankful for.

I work as a Marketing Manager/Graphic Designer, and I love my job.

I live where most people would consider the country or Amish-land... my husband and I strive to be self-sufficient, and continue to grow our lives around the idea that we can survive on our own.
