A white Halloween...

It's hard to believe that this is Halloween weekend...

Looks more like Christmas weekend…

I thought the one photo was funny with the snow and the pumpkins for sale sign....

Looks like tonight I'll be snuggling with some blankets and a movie... And some homemade potato soup.

ehhhh.... I hate being sick

Wednesday night I came down with a bug.... and it had me stuck in my bed all night.... I tried to go into work yesterday morning, but I was just so uncomfortable and not feeling well.. so back home I went - where I rested up and today I am feeling much better.

I honestly hate being sick, but who doesn't? To top it off, I have been contact-less for two days as well, and I hate wearing my glasses...

Let's hope today goes a little better along with this weekend!

So here is my list of to-dos this weekend...

1. Finally get my name officially changed (on my license and social security card)
2. Go to AC Moore... because I love that place
3. Make sure Ryan makes it to his eye dr apt, because I cant stand to hear him moan and groan about not having new contacts
4. Carve some pumpkins - before Halloween is over!
5. NOT get caught up in snow!

**I cant believe they are calling for snow this weekend... its not even November yet! What is wrong with this picture?!?

Apple Pie Love

I was never a big fruit pie lover. The only fruit pies I will tend to eat is cherry or apple, and they have to be pretty good for me to eat. I was at a friends house a few weeks ago, and she had this amazing apple pie - so I asked her for the recipe and decided to make my own!

The hubby decided to join in on the fun and we both made our own pies - both turning out really good! We will be bringing one to my in-laws tonight to have after dinner.

Things got messy... but I honestly think that is the fun in baking!

It finally arrived!

Last night I officially became a Mac owner!

I have been wanting a Mac for a veryy long time.. now finally I have one. It is awesome.. If I could have stay home and played with it all day, I would have.
I know there is always the Mac VS PC argument.. and honestly I guess it is all opinions. I think they both have their purposes and it is all a matter of perspective. But, for me going from PC to Mac.. best decision. I have always been a big fan of apples products.. from the ipod to the iphone and now the Mac. Plus, the seamless integration with my phone is great.

Setting it up was probably the easiest thing ever... one cord and easy walk through instructions and I had this baby set up within 10 minutes.. sweet deal.

So I am one happy apple fan.

Looking ahead...

Getting up this morning was hard... super hard. It was a cold morning.. and I was snuggled under my blankets nice and toasty. No one wants to leave that...especially after having a long and tiring weekend. We were of course out working on the house... and we got a lot done. I can now say that we have just about everything done and ready to go on the outside for when Spring comes around... then all we have to do is get the flower beds ready for some pretty flowers. (Icantwait)

Some of you might wonder what all we have been doing that has consumed my last month... well lets just say that the house has about 3 less trees... and somewhere around 10 less overgrown bushes. Overgrown is an understatement.. PLUS tons of other jobs that comes with taking down trees, like the clean up and then the planting of grass.. and oh I could go on forever.. I will have to post pictures later.. Unfortunately I didnt think to take before and after pics... slap in the face for me. BUT, I will take "in the middle" pics and after pics. I guess that will have to do. There is still so much to do..and I'll have to keep reminding myself to TAKE pictures.

**************************************

Today, I have officially opened BerBers Baking Page on Facebook - be sure to go and "like" it!

Here are a two "jobs" that I did in the last couple weeks. (I say jobs, even though to me it is not much of a job because I LOVE doing it!

This was a cake for one of my dear friends baby showers, her theme was Fall.

I also did some cupcakes for my Aunt's Halloween party.. aren't they cute?

My Life Bucket List...

About a month ago I read a post over on Loves of Life by Katie about her Fall Bucket List.. it was super cute, and she even made a print out for everyone. So, of course I did, because I love things like this! I even did exactly what she said to do.. I put it in a frame so when Ryan and I do these things, we can check them off with a dry erase marker.. super cool right?

Here is a small preview of what she did. If you would like a copy, you can click here to get a printable copy, located at the bottom of her post, be sure to read the post because it's cute too.. like all of her posts!

Well, sadly we haven't done ANY on the list yet... but this weekend we plan on doing a couple.. We were pretty busy with the wedding and all, but it has finally died down. I figured by the end of November will be our cut off for the Fall Bucket List. Hopefully, we can get a few off these checked off! I do hope that she comes out with one for every season.

But.. to get to my point it got me to thinking..

(This is me talking to myself in my head)

"This is super cool... I hope that we can do this for every season... what if I made one for my life? You know like that movie with Jack Nicholson... The Bucket List. I should make my own Bucket List and put it in a frame... yah.. that would be even cooler. Then Ryan can make one too.. and well have our Life Bucket List with our seasonal bucket lists... yah! That would awesome."

So... after I conversed with myself.. I took a few weeks and I really, really thought about the things I want to do in my life... The things I don't want to miss out on. I owe this inspiration to Katie, from Loves of Life. I just loved the look and feel of her list, the idea and the concept - I just had to make my own.

Below is my Life Bucket List.
