I saw this picture today...
I almost died laughing...
Why you ask?
My husband wants a banjo so bad, he'd probably give up his left arm to get one. Which wouldn't really help him when playing would it?
I guess the whole thing with this picture is referring to hearing some rednecks/hillbillies or whatever you may call them... which I guess are scary? I beg to differ a little. Being someone whose family originates from down south, and who actually has immediate family living down there now, including my grandparents in Tennessee, and Aunt/Uncle/Cousins in Virginia, I guess I am kind of use to it.
Scary? No.
Loud, obnoxious, crazy, and not afraid to have a good time, yes.
I'm actually planning a weekend trip down to Virgina soon. My cousin is about to have a baby.. so I of course want to go see the little guy. It's actually really beautiful down there, and makes for some nice pictures, which you know I'll be taking.
Back to the banjo..
My husband is all about this banjo thing... He wants to learn to play one so bad. I just might have to get him one so he can finally shut up about it... all I hear coming from our iPod player or a YouTube video is darrrnarrr narnarnarnarnar..bare with me... you know what I mean. Which, I am sure YouTube will be his first stop in learning how to play, you can learn anything from that damn site... including him playing the harmonica (which he isn't too bad at) and his newest venture of making hard cider (I got him away from the attempting to make moonshine idea finally)... yes, I married a redneck. But, he's a wonderful redneck.
The banjo sound will go good with me barefoot, pregnant, with a baby on my hip and in the kitchen cooking...right?
I think so...
I thought this fit well with this post.
A picture from my wedding... no explanation is needed.
But, can you guess that it was HIS idea?
