About to fall over...

This week thus far has been so hectic...

So many things we have done to the house in just a few days, and so many more to do! I am pleased though of what we have done... and I can't wait for the final results.

Sleep? Who needs that....

I say that now with a large cup of coffee in my hand that will soon be the first of many.

By the afternoon I am ready to crash.. sitting at work at a desk makes me oh so sleepy. I don't think that I have had more then 5 hours of sleep each night. Oh well.... it will be worth it. The long nights of cleaning, unpacking, organizing, painting, will be definitely worth it.

I do have to say that I cannot wait to actually get some furniture in the house. It's so empty in there, it's kind of fun though. We just have a small table with camp chairs, and that's it for down stairs, haha! And then our mattress upstairs on the floor. We are shampooing the carpets tonight, so once that is done we can finally start bringing in some furniture!

Moving into your own home is SO much work.. but it really is fun. Even though we have lots of projects to do around the house, lots of fix-ups and upgrades, it will be great.

Tonight I can finally finish painting my bedroom (we had to have some drywall work in a few places upstairs) Then it's all down hill from there! I will definitely be HAPPY to finally be done painting, for now. What a pain in my butt, but the wow effect of a nice fresh coat of paint has on a room is worth it.

We sat there last night and were relaxing in our garage for a few minutes, and I just loved to hear Ryan talk about how proud he is of us, and the work we have done on the house and the way it is coming along. It was nice. We have so much planned for the house, but I know in time it will be done and the house will be just right. I can live with a few of the things for awhile... but not forever. (aka.. new kitchen!)

Friday our appliances are scheduled to be delivered, I cant wait! Although, we had a mess up with the microwave I bought. I got the microwave that matched my stove and fridge.. it was an above the stove type of microwave, not counter top. I like them like that, except come to find out our cabinets don't like it very much, and to customize them would take a lot of time and they would look super funny... so I decided to keep the microwave anyway (since it matched) and store it until we re-do our kitchen next year. For now, I'm just going to get a cheap one to go on the counter top, whether I like it or not. It will do for now. Oh, the joys of getting a home!

I love it though... and I love my house..I can't wait for all of you to see it!
