Hey folks... I have a review for you today on a website called eShakti. I was emailed a few weeks ago asking if I would like to do a review on this website called eShakti. Don't ask me how to pronounce it, because I'm not 100% sure.
Anyway, so I got on their website, because I had never heard of them before and saw that they do customizable clothing/accessories, and thought "Wow, sweet!" They also carry sizes 0-26W, something for everyone.
I decided to take my chance and get my own free item and try it out. I thought the website was pretty neat, in the fact that you can customize the clothes to your liking. I liked that, alot. I'm picky when it comes to dresses, I like them to look a certain way on me. So, I took my chance.
I went with this dress:
I thought it was a nice casual, but possibly evening dress. It could be used for multiple occasions. I decided I didn't like the length, and wanted it a bit more shorter. Hello? Customizable remember!? I also hate strapless, and decided to throw in some straps too. I loved the ability to customize it how I wanted to and it's FREE to do. For being able to completely customize to my liking (look, sizing, length, etc) the pricing for the dress wasn't too bad. You can check on the dress I got here.
I got the dress in not too long ago. I have to say that it came pretty quickly considering it came from India, where one of their. When I opened up the box and took out the dress, I have to be honest that I wasn't too thrilled with the material, which I went back and double checked and it said 100% Cotton, woven poplin. I know that poplin is used more commonly for high quality garments, which is a plus, and in the fact that it is a well made dress, but for me, I was just not a fan of it. Items made from this material are easy to iron and do not wrinkle easily, so that is another plus. If the fabric was just a little softer, as I thought cotton would, and not so hard, I might have been a bigger fan.
I decided to put it on anyway, and once again was a little disappointed. It didn't fit me near as well as it should, and with the fit-and-flare shape, as described on the website, it was a more be way tight at the top and BAM, flare that shit wayyyy out type of dress. It made my ass look... way big. Not quite the look I was hoping for.
It could very well be that I totally picked the wrong dress for me, and that another dress on the website might do me better. I really did like the ability to customize the dress, and they do have some super cute stuff on there. It's definitely a unique website, with a lot of features that many do not have. You can check out eShakti here.
I think that I would definitely give them another chance, and try customizing another dress to my liking. Possibly pick something more bright and colorful. The don't just have dresses, that have tops, skirts, bags, and more. It worth taking a peek at!

A BzzAgent Review: Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine
Hi Everyone! As most of you know, I am a BzzAgent, and receive FREE products, yes that's right, FREE products to just simply try out and give my honest opinion. Not just samples, actual full size (sometimes more then one) products to test. It's easy and free to do, just click here to see how you can be a BzzAgent too!
You can read some of my past reviews here.
My newest product I receive was the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner. I'll be honest. I am not one to stick with a certain brand of shampoo or conditioner. I get the one that is on sale, and hardly ever have the same one twice.
Here are a few facts on the new Sleek & Shine:
The first and biggest thing that sticks out to me, is HOW it makes my hair smell. It's fabulous. I truly have never had another shampoo that makes my hair smell the way it does, for as long as it does. I really enjoy this. I have had many people compliment me on how good my hair smells, because it is just that strong. After showering in the morning, I was still smelling it just as strong during dinner!
The shampoo really makes my hair feel clean, and the conditioner is SO THICK, and I love that about it. I really like a thick conditioner, I feel my hair just soaks it in so much more. That right there was a plus.
My next thoughts are this, although the Sleek & Shine makes my hair smell fantastic, there really isn't much more that has stood out to me. It does make my hair a little more shinier, but nothing crazy. There hasn't been too much humidity for me to test it out in, but if I had to guess, the last couple days have been pretty humid, and I haven't had too many "crazy curls" pop out of my naturally straight hair, so indeed it might be helping in that area. But, besides from that, to me the Garnier Fructis: Sleek & Shine, is on above average side. It's nothing crazy special, but it's a bit better then your normal shampoo and conditioner. If anything, I would buy it just to make my hair smell the way it does.
Another big plus is that Garnier has gone GREEN! Sleek & Shine products now come packed in Eco-Fructis bottles containing PET and 30% recycled plastic. They're also 10% lighter, which saves over 125 tons of plastic annually! That is great of Garnier, definitely another plus in my book.
If you're looking to go try a new shampoo and conditioner, or like me and just buy whatever, I would suggest trying out the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine, they also have another new line called Triple Nutrition, which I have not yet tried. Try it out for yourself, and see if it can help your hair out today!

A Tasty Pizza Straight from Italy!
Good morning! Today I have a special Bzz review on a new pizza that has hit the grocery stores called, Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza. Most of you know that I participate in an online social marketing company called BzzAgent. It's FREE, and easy to do (so easy, seriously) If you haven't heard of it, you have to check it out. You literally get FREE stuff to try, and all you have to do is give your opinion!
Last night I got to try the new Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker (pronounced "oht-ker"). I got two free coupons to go get myself a tasty treat. They are not available in all grocery stores, yet, but I got mine at the local Weis. If you go to their website, you can find out where the pizzas are available near you. They have six different flavors, Mozzarella, Spinaci, Funghi, Quattro Formaggi, Vegetale, Speciale. They claim to be restaurant-quality pizza, and are the #1 frozen pizza in Italy, and now they have finally made it to the USA. And all I can say it, Yumm.
I decided to go with the Mozzarella and the Spinaci. The Mozzarella has fresh mozzarella, sun-ripened tomatoes and a zesty pesto sauce. The Spinaci has savory leaf spinach, mozzarella and a hearty garlic sauce.
When I picked them up, I do have to say that I was a little disappointed in the size of the pizza. They are more of what I would call a personal size pizza, because I can honestly say I could easily eat a whole one in one sitting, sad, but true! Hopefully, in the future they will start making more of a family size pizza. They are retailed at $4.99 (Weis had them for $4.89), which is a little more then your average frozen small pizza, but the taste is by far much better.
Pizza Spinaci (You can see that they are about the size of your average dinner plate)
Pizza Mozzarella
Just so you know, I didn't eat all of each pizza (I did share people!) Although, I kind of didn't want to. They really don't taste like your average frozen pizza. They have a very fresh taste to them. I couldn't get enough of the Spinach pizza, I probably ate half of that one! The hearty garlic sauce was fantastic and went with the spinach perfectly. It was great, that is a pizza that I would definitely consider getting down the road again.
The Mozzarella one was also really good. If you are a pesto fan, you would love this one. My husband and I are not too big on pesto, so although this one was good too, my husband kept saying he felt like he was eating a basil leaf.
I also noticed that they do not skimp out on the toppings. I hate getting a frozen pizza and when you open it up, you're literally spreading on the toppings so you can have at least one per slice, true story. You can see the pictures below that (especially the spinach one) there are plenty of toppings to go around, no more rationing toppings.
The crust was really good too. It didn't have that cheap doughy taste, and crisped up really nice, and tasted like your local pizzerias thin crust. It's a quick easy meal, they only take 12-14 minutes in the oven.
To sum it up. These pizzas are great, I would actually love to try the other varieties in the future. If you are looking for a quick dinner, that can satisfy your pizza craving, I would definitely try these out. One the other hand, if you have a large family, because of the size and pricing, they might not be for you for a normal weekday dinner. But, if you have a Friday movie night these would be just as good as getting some pizza from your local eatery, and probably cheaper and with their six different varieties, there is a pizza for everyone.
If you are looking to try something new, I would definitely suggest the Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker, go try some for yourself! Learn more about these pizzas here.

Another Bzz
The other day I buzzed about two campaigns I am participating in on Bzzagent, today I have another one I started today. This one isn't your typical get a few products in the mail and test them out, this one you do online. I have to say I was a little taken back by it...it is called Smarterer and here are the basics...
Smarterer is a platform designed to score individuals on digital,
social, and technical skills. Using crowdsourced test design and a
scoring mechanism similar to the one developed to rank chess masters, in
just 10 questions and 60 seconds we can give you a valid score.
When you take a Smarterer test you can get a score on your skills in areas like:
- Blogging tools like Blogger, Tumblr, and WordPress
- Browser systems such as Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer
- Games like Angry Birds and World of Warcraft
- Social Media tools like Facebook, Flickr, Google+, Twitter, and YouTube
- And how much of a Baller you are. Seriously!
That sums it up... so I thought I would try and see where I ranked..
Now, I am addicted. I can't stop taking the tests?! It's almost like a pride thing...This goes through my head as I take the tests..
Must get another 100 points.. keep going... ok I'll be done after 2 more questions.. I CANT BELIEVE I GOT THAT WRONG.. I'm not stopping now... Oh! I know that!...
Yeah... it gets intense, but it actually showed me how much I really know about the things I use everyday! It is so interesting! If you are interested in doing it just go to the Smarterer page, sign up, its free, and you can brag about your score to your friends, family, or co-workers. It even mentions to put it on a resume! How cool! You can also go back and keep taking the tests and improving your score or as they say... get smart then smarter then smarterer!
Here is what my scores so far look like (they are out of 800 - you can stop the test at anytime)
I'll be improving these as I have more time! It is fun... and you learn as you go!

Bzzagent Review - Lots of Lashes/Baby Lips
Most of you know that I LOVE getting good deals, you can of course see some over on my Sweet Deals page.
Today I have a product review... I am a Bzzagent, and if you don't know what that is you should totally check it out, because I get some awesome products to try, and its 100% FREE, no lie. Who doesn't want free? And I get to try new products all the time... so I am going to share my review on the two products I have right now.
Currently, I am testing out the Maybelline - Lots Of Lashes Mascara. (Click to visit their facebook page, which has coupons and fun activities) I'm not one to be too picky about my mascara, I really tend to lean towards the cheaper one, and I'm not one for brand loyalty. The mascara I was using right before this one (and still am) was actually the Maybelline Falsies. Let me compare the two...
I grabbed Falsies because I have small lashes, and not very thick. I try to find something that will help that little problem out. Since I started using Falsies, I have been dissatisfied, and because I'm cheap I've continued to use it. Falsies clumped so easily, and I could actually feel it on my lashes, I didn't really like that. Also, it broke apart so easily, so chunks of mascara would just be chilling on my face. Let alone it SMUDGED so easily. So, when I got some new mascara (free) in the mail, I was pretty excited to push aside the Falsies.
I have been using Lots of Lashes for about a week, and I really like it. It doesn't clump, it goes on so easy, and it hasn't smudged once! I even wore it out on a Saturday night for drinks and dancing, and yet, no smudging?! I have been pretty satisfied. I actually ended up going BACK to the Falsies for day, to help compare more, plus the fact I was sitting there thinking, "well I don't want to waste it..." wrong move. Once again, all day I was messing with my mascara, so back to the Lots of Lashes it was! The only complaint I have about the Lots of Lashes is that the brush is a little smaller then I would prefer, I tend to feel that I have to make a couple extra strokes to get it on how I would like, but that is really the only downside.
Also, this week I am testing out Baby Lips. So far, I have sampled a few that were sent, these would be the Quenched, Peppermint, and Peach Kiss. The first two are tintless lip balms, which I prefer. I have never been much for tinted lip balms. So, I then tried the Peach Kiss, it has a more natural tint. I have to say it wasn't too bad. On their website, this is why they state you will love Baby Lips:
• Visibly renewed lips and 8-hr hydration
• The secret: Exclusive lip renew formula with SPF 20
• Protects and moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours
• After 4 weeks, lips are visibly renewed and reborn
• 6 varieties
Here is my opinion thus far from using Baby Lips in this past week. It goes on smoothly, not feeling grainy. It does make my lips feel pretty hydrated, but I don't believe it last for a full 8 hours, but I am the type that is constantly putting on chapstick, like 30 times a day. In just a few days my lips do feel smoother, especially since it has begun to get cold. So far, I give it an A. I still have the other tinted baby lips to try the Cherry Me, Grape Vine, and Pink Punch.
Here is a coupon for $1 off of Baby Lips on the Maybelline Facebook Page!
Hope this gave you some insight on some cool new products out, I'm still in the testing phase, but so far so good!
