Oh So Busy Weekend

This weekend was super busy, I didn't even have time to touch technology, by Sunday night I was feeling a little deprived (so sad)

Friday night I got my hair cut.. not drastically, just trimmed and layered with 3 inches off. My hair feels so short.. (mind you, My hair is half way down my back)

Saturday.. the fiance and I shopped until he dropped. Not I? Oh no, I could shop forever. I got my bachelorette party dress (it's super cute) with accessories of course. The party is this Saturday (queue scared face) My fiance and I are having our parties the same weekend... we know when they are, we just don't know what we are doing (queue scared face again)

Honestly... I'm hoping it's NOT a stripper. There is just something about a man (who I do not know) shaking his junk in my face, or just remotely close to me. (yuck) I guess we will have to see, of course stay tuned for photos, maybe?

Ryan, my fiance was looking all over this weekend for red shoe laces to go with the chuck taylors he wants his boys to wear at the wedding... total disaster. We looked EVERYWHERE, no where in the mall had red shoe laces? There was plenty of pink and lime green, but no red. So, I got the brilliant idea (or so I thought) to die white shoelaces. brilliant right? Not.So.Much.

I have never really dyed anything in my life. Well, maybe a t-shirt or two, but nothing important! So, we found some shoelaces, and bought some dye. Little did we know that polyester is a PAIN.IN.THE.ASS to dye.

Well after about 2 hours of boiling hot dye, a headache from chemicals out came an OK color. Not really what we wanted, and a little pinkish. So they dry and we grab the shoes to test them out.

They are too small. Son of a bitch. This people is my life, always something has to go wrong?!?! Why we didn't test them out first? I dont know, I think we were too excited to dye them, and the thought didn't really cross our minds.. so dying shoe laces = complete failure. He was pretty bummed, so I took two shoelaces and sewed them together, looks perfect, and fits his shoes. So no, we don't have laces for the wedding (yet) but now the future hubby is happy that he has some funky looking shoelaces to go with his chucks, yay for me!

We also got to eat out at the restaurant we are having our rehearsal dinner at with my future in-laws. Talk about perfect, it is literally 2 minutes up the road from where we are getting married. It also has some AMAZING food! I got to try two of the dishes we are having be options at the dinner, it was a party in my mouth! Also, the hot crab dip was to die for! We also have our own private room with private bar and bartender and a door leading out to the outdoor patio. I couldn't be happier with the place.

Everything is just coming together so quickly for the wedding. I also worked on a lot of small details Sunday, talk about tiring! Got to love it though. In between wedding details I had to cut my dog. His hair was just a bit ridiculous. He is a shih-tzu so his hair can get wild if not taken care of. You can read about him here!

Just got to get through this week, then it is party time!
