The very first of many!

Let me start off by saying hello, and welcome! This is my first post of many more to come. I have been actually working on getting this blog together for almost a week! It's still in the working progress, as I continue to add bits and pieces here and there, so be patient...  I promise it will be fun!

 So.. for my first post, I thought that it would be best to just tell you a little bit about myself. My name's Amber, and I am 21 years young  <22 on October 14th.>  I graduated last year with my Associates in Business Administration, and I am currently working as a Marketing Associate. 

I am engaged to be married on September 24th, 2011, to the love of my life, and my best friend... his name is Ryan. I am sure you will be hearing LOTS about him! He truly is the glue that keeps me together.

A few words to describe me
- lover, hater, dreamer, determined, outgoing, smartass (in a good, funny way) great listener, advice giver (Mrs. Dr Phil so Ive heard) independent, all in all... I'm just real.

My hobbies? 
-I tend to do a lot of things... scrapbooking, painting, baking, cake decorating and traveling to name a few. All of which will be discussed throughout my blog.

Why start a blog?
- Well, I like to be creative (writing/drawing/decorating, etc)... I'd like to share the things I do, maybe it will inspire someone. I also have some tough challenges ahead of me... the first would of course be my wedding. Which is right around the corner. Ryan and I then plan to move out within the months ahead... tough? I'd like to think so.. this will be my spot to share our journey and the bumpy roads that lie ahead, it could get interesting... and I think it will make for some good reading as well =)

At least, I'd like to think it will be interesting... in fact, I know it will! My life has already been jam packed full that I wouldn't know what its like not having to face another curve. All of which I've obviously survived (the big and the small)

The places we've been, make us who we are tomorrow. I look forward to meeting that girl... I look forward to sharing that girl with you if you let me. Thanks for joining in on my very first post.
