The Nursery Project

So now that I'm winding down on this pregnancy, with only 3 months to go.. it was time to get the nursery project into full swing.

It has been bugging on my mind for weeks now, must finishing painting, must get this, need that, the list just never ends it seems. BUT finally the painting was done, and we had found our crib set after almost TWO DAMN MONTHS of searching. Whoever would have thought it would have taken that long to find something perfect for my little angel.

Let me tell you, furniture these days are CRAP. Straight crap. They're made with fake wood that won't stand the test of time. That's why we also have local people make our house furniture. BUT, with my baby's crib, I wanted to make sure the safety features and all were up to par. So, after even heading to Pottery Barn where I knew the furniture would be kinda expensive, I STILL wasn't impressed. So, one afternoon after an OB apt, my mom and I stopped at Costco... and there is was, their furniture was out, and a crib set. Yep, after going to all the big name baby stores, furnitures stores, I went with Costco. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. It's beautiful, and REAL wood. It's made great, and sturdy, especially the dresser. BINGO. I was so glad to finally find what I wanted.

Ryan and I had already decided on the theme of the room when we found out Baby Hudler was going to be a boy. Ryan is much of an outdoorsman, so we thought a woodland theme bedroom would be cute for a little boy. So, months of Pinterest and scouring the internet I figure out how I wanted the room to look for baby Kayden. It's still in the working progress, obviously since I don't have HALF the shit I need... but it's getting there.

I found these super cute decals on Amazon, and they look awesome. They just make the room perfect, and I was pretty impressed with their quality for something so cheap!

There are just a few more things that need done before I feel like the room is ready to be stuffed with toys, diapers, clothes, you name it stuff. It makes me super duper excited. Now, all I need is a cute, squishy baby in there. October can't come soon enough!
