House Projects... and crap.

My life now consist of fixing up my house...

Everything little thing bothers me.. it must be fixed ASAP.

It's starting to just pick pick pick at my brain. Yes, I know, you can sit there and tell me that everything takes time, and we will get there. I know that, but that doesn't mean it still won't bother me.

I'm talking about the little things, the paint marks on all the beautiful trim that needs to be sanded and re-stained. Honestly, WHO PAINTS WITHOUT TAPING?!?! What a mess.... but I'll get it fixed and looking pretty again, eventually. The dirt stains, cracks and marks on the floor in the kitchen, make me want to replace that tomorrow, but that won't happen. The painting that still needs done in a few rooms, makes my head spin. There's more...  but the more I talk about it, the shorter my breath gets.

I know in time it will all get done.. and it will, I've planned it all out. But, when it comes to stuff like this, I'm so up tight, and kind of OCD on it. But, I've learn to be better with these sort of things, and I take it day by day and try and get what I can done... there's always tomorrow.

We did a lot on the yard this past weekend. The yard is finally starting to look great, we planted flowers, mulched the beds, and planted veggies in the gardens. It's looking nice, and we even went and bought a Grill for the patio... now I just need some patio furniture, and we will be set!

Oh the joys of getting a house... I love it.. and I love having our own place to fix up how we'd like, but damn, after weeks of non-stop going, I can't wait until we can sit down, have a peaceful dinner, without knowing there is a big project that needs done... right after.

Other then that... I am enjoying being on my own, more then I imagine. It's nice to have my routines, and do things how I want, when I want. I enjoy planning our dinners, and having just the "us" time. It's nice, I think my dog is even enjoying it now. Each and everyday the house changes, as we fix and complete projects, and each and everyday the house becomes more our home, more our creation. It's wonderful.
