A little bit of this....and that

Oh what a yucky rainy day. Days like this make me want to be back in bed, with my PJs on, and watching movies and doing crafty things... oh how I wish I was in that place.

Today I did something that I have only done once before... I bought a lottery ticket. Not just any lottery ticket, the Powerball lottery ticket. Which is at like 124 million... of course cut that in half and that is what you get, if you are lucky enough to win the jackpot.. me lucky? No, I don't think so. But hey, it is worth a try. Maybe I will come back a millionaire tomorrow. I did actually win $20 off the first Powerball ticket I bought, guess I was a little lucky?

That would be nice. The things I could do with money like that?! I already have it all planned out in my head... sad I know. But, doesn't everyone have daydreams of what it would be like if you had money like that? Well, except the lucky few who DO have that kind of money. Below is a list of ten things I would do if I were to win the jackpot, what are some things you would do??

1. Buy everything we need for our future home.. plus some.
2. Put a swimming pool in at the house!
3. Buy the hubby a brand new truck (because he wants one so bad)
4. Take a trip around the world!
5. Help my family to become comfortable...
6. Go shopping and get all the clothes and shoes I've always wanted!
7. Open my very own pet rescue center
8. Donate to those who need it too!
9. Buy a vacation home, wherever I want!
10. Be what every girls hopes she can be when she becomes a mom... a stay at home mom.

I think that about covers it.... oh wouldn't it be nice?

Last night I started working on this filing cabinet that I bought at a yard sale over the summer... for $2!!! Those things run pretty high, so I was super excited about my buy. We have been needing one for quite some time now, to organize all of our important documents. So, I am taking this old filing cabinet, that I paid practically nothing for and I am making it look brand new! That's a steal. Have you come to realize yet that I love my deals? What is that saying... Another man's trash, becomes another's treasure?  It has some rust on it, so I started to sand it and eventually will be repainting it. Gotta love it, you know you're getting old when a $2 filing cabinet that you need to restore makes you happy!
